Sick Babies????

I took the babies to the doctor today, after a night of NO sleep. They were both up all night...coughing, sneezing, crying, running fevers, hurting. Poor little ones!

So I get them to the doctor -- do you think they cough??? Do you think they cry or sneeze or have a fever??? Nothing! I think their pediatrician thinks I might be a bit over protective. Maybe! I didn't dream it....I swear it happened! Do they look sick to you?

Jason's Birthday

Yesterday was Jason's 38th birthday. Instead of doing my norm and buying 2 packages of socks, baking his favorite cake, and cleaning his house - Brooke and I went to the cemetery and set up this cutest duck spinner. We try to do these things to keep from going crazy on sad days like this. It's hard to believe he's been gone for two years. I miss him so much! I hope you love the duck spinner Jas....something to enjoy from heaven. I love you!

Humor At Home Depot

After we quit laughing so hard, I snapped this shot with my phone so I could share the humor.

So What...It's a lawn mower on our cart. Why so funny????

We have not one single blade of grass in our yard! Yes, one day SOON we will, but for now...NOTHING! Cody and I discussed which mower would be the best and after about 7 minutes of deep concentration, we put this one on the cart. It was then when Cody started laughing. He didn't have to say a word and I started laughing too. The poor teen-age boy that was helping us with our purchase looked at us like we had lost it. I turned to him with tears running down my face and said to him, "We don't even have grass!" Yes....They've lost it!

Too Funny! I thought you'd enjoy this one.

Do They Get Along? you ask...

Well, let's just say it's not very often that I'll get a picture like this. Maybe Summer or Weston with one of the little ones, but not together AND SMILING! The most surprising thing -- I didn't even take the picture. I didn't even have to beg and bargain to get this thing. They took it all on their own. Ahhhh what great kids! =) (for now anyway)

Summer's Moving on to High School

For some reason it hasn't quite hit me that she's out of Jr. High and in August will enter the Ohhh so familiar doors of the High School. It doesn't seem that long that I was there myself. Okay, maybe it's because she is only 17 years younger than I am. People asks me all the time if it seems weird that I have a daughter that old.......Of course it's weird. I'd use other words such as scary, amazing, and making me sick to my stomach. She's a beautiful girl and I'm very proud to be her mother. I know she'll go through her good and bad times, but I know we'll be just fine. We grow closer every day and I feel that she'll do great. I'll get use to her growing up and she'll get use to me being a bit over protective.
