FrIgHtFuL FuN for WeStOn'S BiRtHdAy!!

This year for Weston's birthday we went to Lagoon's Frightmares. We had such a busy week with the deer hunt, Summer's volleyball, and everyone having work stuff going on, I felt really bad that we didn't have time to plan a big party. Weston was such a trooper! This was the first year he didn't have a big friend party, but it turned out being GREAT!! Weston, and I decided at 1:00 a.m. that we were going to go to Lagoon and leave at 10 a.m. lol

Grandma stayed home with the babies (dad was at work) and we (Summer, a friend, Weston, and myself)headed out ON TIME!! Got there right when it opened and stayed 'til it closed! The weather was perfect and it wasn't crowded at all!!! We went on all the rides and saw a singing/dancing show and went through all four haunted houses!! An Absolutely Wonderful Day!!

Weston Is 12

I really have a hard time beliveing that it's been 12 years since the day this little man was born! He grew up so fast!

Weston has always been such a great boy! Always kindof a "mama's boy". Such a loving and caring kid. Always worried about others and always trying to help anyone he can.
Weston has always had a love for gymnastics, singing, and acting. He wants to be FAMOUS!!!

Weston loves to hang out with friends and be outside. He loves his bike and loves the skateboard! He likes tennis and swimming during the summer and playing in the snow in the winter! Weston looooves getting presents. Even a little tiny toy or candy "out of the blue" puts a smile on his face! =)

I've shared a lot of "late night chats" and "dates" with this kid and love every moment! He's AWESOME!! Luckiest Mom EVER!!

Keaton's Party & Hotel

Happy Birthday Keaton!

Instead of a "big" friend party like we do every year for Keaton, we decided on cake and ice cream with family and some friends and a stay over night at the "water slide hotel"

HE HAD A BLAST!!!

Keaton was so funny opening his presents and blowing out his candles!

"VICTORY!!" is what he yelled after opening every present. Afterwards he asked himself, "What's up with the VICTORY?" It was cute!

He was full of excitement the whole night and had the biggest smile on his face.

 

 

The following day we headed into Salt Lake and stayed at the hotel. The kids looooved it! We swam from eleven in the morning until 9 p.m. The kids never stopped!!

Keaton said it was "THE BEST BIRTHDAY A 5 YEAR OLD COULD HAVE!!" lol Cute-ness!!

I can't believe that Keaton is 5!

The cutest and funniest 5 year old I know!

Five years ago on September 30th when I got into bed...I told Cody that I could NOT be pregnant for one more day. lol I'm done, I am NOT getting out of bed in the morning.

I had three weeks left... I was HUGE, I was tired, my back was sore, and I was HUGE!!

Well....I did get up & I started getting ready for a doctor's appointment. I bent down to pick something up and my water broke!!! I stood up, looked up and seriously yelled THANK YOU!!!!!!

Five short (and very easy) hours later at 1:52 p.m.......Our healthy 8 lb. 8 oz. little bundle arrived!

He was 23 inches long and PERFECT!!

He has brought so much joy into our lives! Such a happy boy!

He is a cuddle bug. He loves to ride his bike. He goes to gymnastics and loves it. He's starting to like school. =)

He loves to be outside. He loves loves loves guns!!! He knows the names of them and knows what you shoot with each one. Cute Cute! We call him a "Little Jason"

He's so much like Jason.

School Kids!

Wow! All four of my babies had a "FIRST day of school" this year and we made it through all of THEM! YAAAHHHH!!!!

Crazy at it seems.....Summer started her Junior year, Weston started the 6th grade, Keaton his second year of pre-school and little Lily her first year of pre-school. I can't believe it -- really! They were all pretty excited and ready to start. They all looooved shopping for their new clothes and school supplies!

Summer Jay

Summer's first day was Monday, August 24th at Stansbury High School.

The morning started out great. She got up in time, got ready and looked beautiful as always. She ate breakfast and brushed her teeth, gathered her stuff and kissed me goodbye.

She headed out the door to her car to leave........

5 Seconds later, she busted back through the door almost in tears!! Her car had a dead battery!! She's now rushed for time and completely upset. I grab the keys to the red car and kiss her once more, telling her it'll be ok and have a good day, be careful, I love you!

She called me when she gets there, almost in tears again. =(

Her schedule and class room numbers are in HER car!!!!

She had just enough time to write them all down and get to class. Wheewww!!!

She ended up having a great first day!!

Weston H.

Weston's first day was also on Monday, August 24th. Originally, he would have started at the Grantsville Elementary School, but because of the recent fire, he started at the Grantsville Jr. High. He was both nervous and excited about this. He was mostly excited to have his own locker!!! Every year in the past I was able to walk in with him, get him to his desk, and take a few pictures. This year was different. It was the first year that he thought he was big enough to go in himself and that I should just take pictures from the car. =( =( Sad sad

He even ironed his own clothes before school and would NOT let me help him get ready. I guess those are all signs of him growing up.

Keaton Cody

Keaton started his school on Tuesday, Sept.1st. He would have started at the Willow Elementary, but because of the fire, he and Lily get to go to the big High School!! Keaton really isn't much of a big fan of school but he was super excited that he got to go to the High School and just really really wanted a locker!

He got ready without crying, but cried a little when we got to the classroom. =(

When I went to pick him up, he said that he had FUN and he was going to go again and not CRY!! I'm keeping my finger's crossed!!

Lilyan Jean

Lily went to her first day of school EVER on Monday, August 31st!

She LOOOOOVED it!!!

She got up, got ready, and put on her own shoes and backpack! She looked adorable!

We walked in the school and she went right into the classroom.

I can't believe how big she is getting and what cute things she says. She told me that she is a big girl and can take care of school all alone. =) Sooo Cute!

When I picked her up she said she helped the teachers, got a book for her backpack, and did her "homework"

I'm still not ready for the summer to be over and school to be in full swing. It's going to take some getting use to. I'm glad the first day's went as smoothly as they did!

Summer FUN!!!

Our summertime has been FULL of great fun and I'm NOT ready for it to end!! I'm not ready for school to begin (ON Monday YUK). NOT READY AT ALL!! I could handle at least another month of activities with the kids!

I went on my annual Park City trip with the "girls" this past weekend and had a total BLAST! We rode the zipline and the coaster and ate a lot, laughed a lot, and talked about a lot of old times. I wanna go again. I'm actually thinking about heading up with the kids for my birthday. Try to get one last "Horrrah" in for the summer.

Erin left for school on Saturday. =( I can't believe she's graduated and off to college. Makes me sad. I will miss her so much, but I'm soo soo happy for her. So proud of her!! She's such a wonderful girl! Such a beautiful young lady!! I can't wait to visit and stay in Logan! I will be making all the lotto ticket runs, that's for sure!


Summer made the Stansbury High School Volleyball Team! So Exciting! I'm so proud of her and so excited for her to start her Junior year in a new school and play ball! I can't wait to start watching games!! Go Summer!



We went to Lagoon yesterday. The kids loved it!! Lily & Keaton both loved all the kid rides this year and Skyler got to ride all the BIG rides. She loved the white roller coaster and the colossus! We didn't see much of Summer, London, Ty, Zach, Weston, Briggs, Lance, & Landon but they all had a good time! Sooo Much Fun! The weather was perfect and the entire family had an awesome time!!

Cody FINALLY got a new cell phone today. lol The kids and I picked it up for him and surprised him with it when he got home from work. He was way way more than excited!! It's been a loooong time. He's been the poor guy using the OLD phone for wayyyyy toooo long!

We have a little more school shopping to do. I've got Summer & Weston pretty much done and I've got Keaton a few new pairs of shoes. I just need to take Lily and Keaton (can't believe I'll have two in pre school) to get clothes. Also, all the kids need school supplies!

I looooove the summer time and not looking forward to the cooler weather too much. I am looking forward to getting the basement fisnished!!!! (I'm really hoping before Christmas!!...Keeping my fingers crossed!!!)

This years stockshow went great!!

Summer & Weston had fun and did an awesome job like always ....

.... and Ty actually loved his first year!! (He didn't want to do it at first) He did a great job!!

Lily & Keaton had a lot of fun hanging out at the fair and watching all the animals!



And Cody had to work Friday.....so I had to get down and dirty and help the kids get the pigs ready for the judging!
